THE SECONDARY MEANINGS OF INTERROGATIVE SENTENCES IN RHETORIC
This article provides a brief overview of the formation of interrogative sentences in Arabic, their grammatical features, and their various semantic interpretations in the field of rhetoric. The main focus is on the classification of interrogative sentences, which Ahmad Hashimi divides into three types: those requiring confirmation, those requiring description, and those aimed solely at verification. Additionally, secondary meanings of interrogative sentences, such as command, encouragement, equivalence, assertion, improbability, and mockery, are explained using examples from the Quran.
