Group consensus <i>H</i> <i>∞</i> control for homogeneous multi-agent systems with cyber attacks and fixed topologies

The study aims to achieve group consensus in homogeneous multi-agent systems (MASs) facing internal model principle (IMP) based and non IMP-based network attacks. A novel Quasi-H ∞ resilient controller is introduced using an internal model controller (IMC) to achieve group consensus in the MAS. The proposed technique is novel because it stands out for its ability to counteract attack effects without excluding or limiting breached nodes. The suggested method is applied to linearly compromised MASs featuring single input and single output (SISO) agents. Pade’s approximation and graph theory are used for certain essential and comprehensive conditions, which are derived to mitigate the effects of time delays and assaults simultaneously. Furthermore, the research is broadened to include the outcomes of attacks that are non-IMP. The potency of the suggested control approach is verified via simulation results.
