Impact of non-sinusoidal excitation and core shape on vibration and noise characteristics of high-frequency transformers
With the rapid development of power electronics and the widespread use of new magnetic materials, high-frequency transformers are becoming more prevalent. Unlike power transformers, high-frequency transformers operate at higher frequencies with non-sinusoidal excitations, resulting in increased vibration and noise problem. In this paper, a synchronized mechanical and acoustic properties measurement system is designed and established. Both the vibration and noise characteristics of nanocrystalline cores under non-sinusoidal excitation are tested, and the effect of core geometry on the vibration and noise are explored.
