Cajita feliz, discursos y apropiación del último vagón: prácticas sexuales y espacialidad en el metro de Ciudad de México

Erotic expressions have been linked in the public space for heterosexual people under a context of tolerance and even acceptance, however, when these are reproduced by homosexuality and the diversity community, they are not only disapproved, they are also punished. These expressions in the Mexico City subway are analyzed herein, under the concept of metreo, based on identifying and knowing how homoerotic practices generate a discourse of appropriation of the last car and consequently produce homoerotic spatialization. From a qualitative methodology based on in-depth interviews and participant observation. The results show that men who practice metering generate a symbolic and spatial state of reappropriation of the meter that leads them to a secondary satisfaction of belonging and using it based on the processes of both political and spatial freedom. The work accounts for the presence of minority groups in Mexico City.
