Construction of Underwater Sound Field Propagation Loss Simulation Platform
Firstly, based on the netCDF data set and the formula of sound velocity profile, the sound velocity profile data of each position in the ocean is successfully calculated. Secondly, by incorporating the velocity profile data into various models of underwater sound field propagation loss, we can derive propagation loss data calculated by different models. Thirdly, the application scenarios of various propagation loss models are introduced in detail, along with the significance of propagation loss data based on the sonar equation. Finally, from an engineering application perspective, these sound field propagation models are calculated using a C++ program. All of the aforementioned models were simulated using the Qt platform and the open-source tool QCustomPlot. These models are then integrated into the software package. The application prospect of this software involves evaluating sonar performance and hydrological systems under complex sea states.
