A Practical HCI Evaluation Approach of Flight Deck
To evaluate the Human-Computer Interface (HCI) of the flight deck effectively and thoroughly, a practical evaluation approach of flight deck has been proposed. This methodology involves conducting a series of crew-task-based human factors evaluations, and has gained widespread acceptance in both the design and iterative phases of flight deck. Through extensive practical application, this approach has demonstrated its importance and practicality, particularly in identifying potential human factors issues and analyzing design optimization requirements. It facilitates iterative upgrades of cockpit design during the initial stages effectively, thereby preventing potential human factors issues and ensuring design optimization and improvement.
