Server motherboard power performance study under immersion cooling environment
This paper provided a holistic analytical and experimental power performance impact study on a single-phase immersion cooling two socket server system, included board and system level performance comparison analysis between air and immersion cooling. With proven benefit in this study, cost down opportunities are analyzed to show case that design optimization can be achieved for immersion cooling environment-based server motherboard power design, which will greatly help total cost of ownership (TCO) of datacenter and improve product competitiveness.
