Effect of Space Charge and Aging on Creeping Discharge of Oil-Paper Insulation in Triple Junction During Polarity Reversal Electrical Field
This paper primary deals with the experimental characterization of space charge under different polarities of DC voltage before and after voltage inversion. It investigates the evolution of the space charge on the local electric field as well as the discharge characteristics during the polarity reversal process. The effects of the space charge on the local electric field and discharge characteristics under different aging degrees were studied. It is found that the space charge has some effect on the local electric field distortion as well as a promoting effect on the discharge in aging samples.
