Uma Unidade Básica de Problematização (UBP) na perspectiva da Etnomatemática: Saberes mobilizados na produção de farinha de mandioca no Assentamento 26 de Março

This article aims to present a proposal for a Basic Problematization Unit (UBP) based on the knowledge mobilized by cassava flour producers from the perspective of Ethnomathematics for teaching mathematics. This is part of a master's degree research developed with the Postgraduate Program in Science and Mathematics Education (PPGECM) at the Federal University of the South and Southeast of Pará (Unifesspa). The research is characterized as qualitative, with ethnographic inspiration and a participatory approach. The research collaborators were three farmers and a farmer, producers of cassava flour who carry out this work practice in the 26 de Março Settlement. This study is based on the field of Mathematics Education, specifically on the Ethnomathematics aspect of Ubiratan D’Ambrósio. UBP help to think about problematizing teaching, enabling students to reflect on the knowledge produced, relating school knowledge with that developed in social relationships.
