APLICAÇÃO DAS PRÁTICAS DO GUIA PMBOK®: UMA ANÁLISE BIBLIOGRÁFICA SOBRE TENDÊNCIAS, DESAFIOS E CONTRIBUIÇÕES NA GESTÃO DE PROJETOS

This study aimed to analyze the application of the PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) guide in different organizational contexts, based on a selection of national and international academic articles. The methodology adopted was a bibliographical survey, in which 19 articles published between 2012 and 2021 were selected and categorized, which address various topics associated with project management, such as risk management, quality, organizational maturity, lessons learned, knowledge flow, the performance of Project Management Offices (PMOs) and educational trends in the area. The results showed that the PMBOK® is widely used as a basis for structuring and controlling projects in various areas, from software development to the third sector and civil engineering works. The thematic categories made it possible to observe how different aspects of project management are approached in organizations, highlighting the importance of adapting good practices to the particularities of each environment. In addition, it was possible to identify a growing interest in combining traditional approaches with agile methodologies such as Scrum, seeking greater flexibility and efficiency in processes. The conclusion is that the application of PMBOK® contributes significantly to the success of projects by providing a structured and standardized basis, promoting greater control, communication and stakeholder engagement.
