Computer model for output signal control of a class of uncertain switching nonlinear systems

Uncertain parameters in the presence of external disturbances or parametric uncertainties can render the dynamics of switching systems unstable. Robust output tracking control ensures the stability of the system. This article addresses the issue of output tracking control for switched nonlinear systems with uncertain external disturbances. The goal of the study is to develop a stable control method for output tracking of the system. The proposed method is aimed at estimating the uncertain parameters of the system in real-time and ensuring the stability of the control. The study employs common methods of Lyapunov functions, linear matrix inequalities, and concepts such as average dwell time. The obtained results were simulated in MATLAB, and their practical applicability was demonstrated. Moreover, it was shown that the use of a variable structural controller enhances control efficiency. The methods discussed in the article can be widely applied in engineering applications for transportation systems, electronics, and network control systems. An example of a networked control system (NCS) allows assessing the efficiency of the proposed variable structural controller method under conditions of uncertainty and external disturbances. This research opens new opportunities for the practical application of control in switched systems under uncertainty and makes a significant contribution to engineering applications.
