European Defence Industrial Strategy: Amid New Challenges

The apparent limitations contained in the fundamental treaties of the European Union are not a match for political will. Funding programmes supporting the development of European defence technological and industrial bases abound. Policy tools and strategies are in place. New challenges arise in the implementation of the European defence industrial strategy. Europe must appease both its allies and its companies.
