In the context of the vigorous development of digital economy, the improvement of digital literacy of rural residents in China plays an important role in rural revitalization. This paper studies its necessity, existing problems and solutions. At present, the holding rate of rural digital equipment is low and there will not be many users. The development of urban and rural digital economy is very different, and the application scenarios are limited, leading to the incomplete development of rural digital economy. In this regard, this paper proposes to build a digital literacy cultivation system, improve the infrastructure construction to break the information island, build a guarantee mechanism, improve the policy support and other improvement paths, to provide theoretical and practical guidance for them.
