ANALYSIS OF PHOTOGRAPHABLE AREA OF STREETSCAPE OF TOURIST CITY THROUGH PHOTOS POSTED ON SNS

Recently, examples of initiatives using SNS have been seen in national and local governments, such as the use of “photogenic spots” for tourism. This study analyzed cityscape photos posted for Ginzan Onsen. The photo shooting points (viewpoints) were estimated, and the photographed area was plotted according to the main scene. The possible photographing range within Ginzan Onsen was calculated from the aggregated results, and compared it with the actually measured results. In order to apply the method to other areas, the factors that limit the shooting range and the conditions according to the characteristics of the cityscape were clarified.
