The design of a university student physical measurement system based on ESP32

In the field of collegiate athletic testing, ensuring the impartiality and accuracy of the tests and the safety of students are always central issues. In this study, we propose an innovative college sports testing system, which integrates advanced finger vein recognition technology and a variety of sensor technologies with ESP32 chip as the core. The system not only monitors and accurately records sports test data in real time, but also takes full advantage of the ESP32 chip's efficient computing and wireless communication. At the same time, the user query interface based on WeChat Mini Program and the convenient management platform built by MATLAB were further developed. After actual test verification, the system performed well in key test items such as heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, 800-meter run, sit-ups and pull-ups, and the measurement error was controlled within 5%, which significantly improved the efficiency of the test process and effectively reduced the workload of teachers. The results of this study not only provide a new solution for college sports testing, but also lay the foundation for the digital transformation of sports testing.
