Research on IIoT Honeypot Technology Based on Improved Conpot
With the rapid development of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technology, its security issues are becoming increasingly prominent. Honeypots, as a trapping technique, play a crucial role in detecting and analyzing network attacks in the industrial IoT. In response to the default configuration of Conpot industrial control honeypots that leads to easily detectable fingerprint information, this paper modifies the default characteristic information of Conpot honeypots and introduces format encryption technology to generate serial numbers and identification codes, significantly enhancing the security and stealth of the honeypots. By building a honeynet to verify the effectiveness of the improved method; experiments have confirmed the effectiveness of the scheme in detecting attack behaviors and enhancing system security.
