Delay Tolerant Network Routing Algorithm Based on Inter-Node Contact Frequency
In Delay Tolerant Networks, due to the characteristics of frequent link breaks and dynamic changes in network topology, forwarding messages out efficiently is a key problem to be solved. Based on Epidemic algorithm and Spray and Wait algorithm, this paper introduces a Delay Tolerant Network Routing Algorithm Based on Inter-Node Contact Frequency (INCF -DTNRA), which aims to analyze how to control the network overhead while improving the message forwarding success rate. In some DTN networks, the frequency and range of node movement may be very large, and the effective contact frequency between nodes may be different. The INCF -DTNRA algorithm records the contact frequency of the current node with other neighboring nodes in the network, and dynamically allocates the message copy quota based on the value of the historical contact frequency, so as to reduce the transmission latency and improve the forwarding success rate. The evaluation has been carried out by ONE simulation tool and the results show that the algorithm can better improve the transmission rate, reduce the transmission delay and reduce the network overhead in small scale networks.
