Determination of intervention sequence of campus bullying based on filters

Campus bullying can cause long-term harm to students’ psychological health, therefore it is significant to intervene the campus bullying in advance. To determine the intervention sequence of campus bullying, firstly three filters are proposed for relationship data. The first filter normalizes the relationship data. The second filter removes the data that are not related to the bullying based on the threshold. The third filter transforms the bullying data to the adjacent matrix of directed graph, from which the victim and perpetrator are visualized. To determine the intervention sequence of campus bullying, secondly, the threshold sequence for the second filter is proposed. To exemplify the proposed method, a case study is given. The intervention can help managers make a decision about which bullying is urgent to be intervened. The proposed method is helpful for the early warning of campus bullying and eliminating the negative outcomes of bullying on an individuals’ mental health.
