Research on the Impact of Teaching Interaction on Students’ Online Learning Engagement Based on a Multiple Linear Regression Model

It is paramount to integrate the effective online learning interactions and enhance the students’ learning engagement and promote the students’ active participation in the current era of digital education. This study aims to empirically examine the impacts of teaching interactions on the learning engagement in the online learning environments. This study focuses on the student-student interaction, teacher-student interaction, student-content interaction and student-platform interaction. A survey approach is used to collect quantitative data from students from a Chinese university. To analyze the collected data, this study employs SPSS 24 version. The results and findings of the current research show that the integration of multidimensional teaching interactions positively affect the students’ learning engagement. The findings also support for optimizing the interactive and personalized online courses in future. Stakeholders receive valuable insights from this study to design and implement the efficient online learning strategies; thus contributing to more effective and engaging digital learning environments.
