The Classification and Analysis for the Possigiliites of Modern Algorithms in Traditional Mathematics Using Muksajibsanbeob

Traditional mathematics in East Asia has developed mainly in taxes and defense. The history of Western mathematics can be seen as a development of deductive proofs. On the other hand, traditional East Asian mathematics was developed to facilitate calculation in the field where mathematics is used. This has led to the phenomenon that most mathematical solutions are developed inductively. In modern computer science, algorithm development using the inductive method in East Asia can be useful. Therefore, in this paper, the contents of the Muksa-jipsanbeob, a representative traditional Korean mathematical book, were classified as a modern mathematical method around 1600.Then, the points that can be compared with the development of a computational algorithm and the programming language were classified.First, it was classified into algebraic, analytical, and applied mathematical methods, which are easiest to operate inductively. After that, algorithm development classification expanded to algebra, analysis, and application, and classification based on coding possibility was conducted. The classification was conducted based on the implementation speed and computational quantity. In addition, the classification of traditional mathematics was conducted for the possibility of Big-O operation. It is considered a geography that can be verified for its use and practicality in modern programs using traditional mathematics through subsequent studies.
