Bronchogenic Cysts Presenting as Mimics of Thyroid Cysts
Bronchogenic cysts are uncommon congenital malformations of the tracheobronchial tree, and are rarely found in the neck. Diagnosis is often difficult to make based on clinical features, pre-operative imaging and cytology, and are often mistaken for thyroid cysts when they are adjacent to the thyroid.
