An Intelligent Bike Sharing System Based on Blockchain Technology
Public Bike Share (PBS) is an important component in intelligent transportation systems and has been rapidly established in many cities. Given the ad-hoc nature of bike sharing, a robust PBS platform needs to heavily depend on its security and privacy features, which can be enabled by Blockchain technology. Also, Blockchain can be used as an access control mechanism to provide a decentralized solution for the distributed authentication in the PBS. However, most Blockchain-based PBS systems focus more on secure architectural design and are still lack of automated Blockchain services to maintain the service quality in PBS. Therefore, this paper proposes a Blockchain-based automated system, named BAS, to improve the efficiency of Blockchain management.
