Life Signs Monitoring System Leveraging IoT and ESP-Now
The rise of chronic diseases necessitates continuous patient monitoring, which traditional healthcare methods struggle to provide due to their reliance on sporadic check-ups by healthcare professionals. This research builds on existing frameworks by focusing on a more accessible and economically viable IoT health monitoring system tailored for small clinics, enhancing patient care through real-time monitoring. The system uses ESP32 microcontroller to process sensor data and communicates it via the ESP-NOW protocol, allowing efficient, internet-less data transmission to a web server for real-time monitoring. This project lays the groundwork for future innovations in health technology, promoting scalable and customizable solutions tailored to the challenges faced by small healthcare facilities.
