A Differential-Fed Dual-Polarized Antenna with Air Backed Cavity
In this paper, a differential-fed dual-polarized antenna with air backed cavity is proposed for Ku-band applications. Two pairs of T-shaped probes are used to feed the radiation patch to form orthogonal dual-polarized waves, and shunt open stubs are added to the T-shaped probes to effectively expand the operation bandwidth. The simulation results demonstrate that the return loss is less than -15.0 dB in the frequency band of 13 GHz~15 GHz, the port isolation is less than -30.0 dB, and the cross-polarization ratio is greater than 30.0 dB.
