Frog Vase

Realism is a technique I explore to challenge my artistic skills. I find inspiration from art that makes me ask: how did a person make a piece so magnificent? I aim to successfully convey accurate human and animal anatomy in art. Using artistic materials, I want to capture nature’s beauty. By using two kinds of green glaze, I made this vase so that the frog appears to blend in with its surroundings. Frog Vase, 2024. Ceramic and glaze, 6" x 2.75" x 2.75".

Abstract

Realism is a technique I explore to challenge my artistic skills. I find inspiration from art that makes me ask: how did a person make a piece so magnificent? I aim to successfully convey accurate human and animal anatomy in art. Using artistic materials, I want to capture nature’s beauty. By using two kinds of green glaze, I made this vase so that the frog appears to blend in with its surroundings. Frog Vase, 2024. Ceramic and glaze, 6" x 2.75" x 2.75".
