Revenge
Realism is a technique I explore to challenge my artistic skills. I find inspiration from art that makes me ask, how did a person make a piece so magnificent? I aim to successfully convey accurate human and animal anatomy in art. Using artistic materials, I want to capture nature’s beauty. In this painting, the woman has just been stabbed in the back by someone she was vulnerable with. She is using the pain from the stabbing to fuel her revenge. Revenge, 2024. Gouache on paper, 9.5" x 9".
