Breast Cancer Risk Modification in Women with Pathogenic Variants in BRCA1 , BRCA2 , ATM , CHEK2 , and PALB2
There is limited information on whether established risk factors increase breast cancer risk from PVs. In the WHI, PV carriers had no substantial (≥2-fold) increase with most risk factors, except potentially MHT in ATM or CHEK2 carriers. The results may inform counseling and research on MHT.
