The relationship between the concepts of innovations and innovative activity

The paper focuses on the examination of the notion of "innovative activity in the region" and its correlation with the concepts of "innovation", "innovative climate", "innovative potential", and "innovation". Currently, there exists no unified approach towards the definition of these concepts. Simultaneously, the government endeavors to foster innovative activity, enhance the innovation climate, and improve the innovative potential of Russian regions. The requirement for innovative development in the regions arises from the current geopolitical circumstances and the inadequate production of high-tech goods by Russian regions. In order to promote innovative growth in the region, the government implements various mechanisms and instruments to stimulate innovation. At the same time, in order to develop appropriate mechanisms and tools, it is necessary to establish the relationship between the concepts of "innovative activity of the region", "innovation", "innovative climate", "innovative potential" and "innovation". This is the aim of the study, which will be achieved through the use of deconstruction, diachronic, descriptive, and holographic methods, as well as a systematic approach. Based on an analysis of various definitions of the aforementioned concepts, a system of their interrelation in the context of innovative development of a region will be presented.

Currently, there exists no unified approach towards the definition of these concepts.
