Supraveghere informativă și anchetă penală: membrii Rugului Aprins în lotul „Teodorescu Alexandru și alții”
Informative Surveillance and Criminal Investigation: The Members of the “Burning Bush” in the “Teodorescu Alexandru and Others” Case In a political regime that suppresses freedom and eliminates political enemies (be they armed opponents or dissidents against the discourse of the establishment), there exists a repressive apparatus that supports the illegitimate power of the leadership and represses society. It carries out surveillance and documents the movements and attitudes of the people. The paper discusses the content and measures of the informational surveillance carried out by the main repressive actors of the Romanian communist regime, the Securitate, against a group of clerics, laymen and students known as “The Burning Bush” (Romanian, Rugul Aprins) or “Teodorescu Alexandru and others” (as they appear in the investigation files), before their arrest and imprisonment in the summer of 1958. The article highlights various types of documents and internal institutional interactions.
