The impact of two interval training methods (strength-running) and (running) on several physical variables for advanced football players

The study aims to:Investigate the impact of two interval training methods (strength-running) and (running) on several physical variables for advanced football players, and compare the effects of these two interval training methods (strength-running) and (running) on several physical variables for advanced football players. To achieve the study objectives, the researchers proposed the following hypotheses: There are statistical differences between the two interval training methods (strength-running) and (running) on several physical variables for advanced football players in the post-test for both experimental groups. The study sample consisted of 28 advanced football players from Hikma Sports Club. The sample was divided into two experimental groups using the random selection method with a lottery. Homogeneity was ensured in the variables of age, height, weight, and training age, and equivalence was ensured between the two study groups in the physical variables. The study procedures included applying two interval training methods to the experimental groups. The first experimental group performed the mixed interval training method (strength-running), while the second group performed the interval running method. The researchers then conducted the post-physical tests using the same procedures and steps as the pre-tests.The researchers concluded the following:The mixed interval training (strength-running) performed by the first experimental group achieved positive development in all physical variables. The interval running training performed by the second experimental group also achieved positive development in all physical variables. The first experimental group that used mixed interval training (strength-running) outperformed the second experimental group in all physical variables.

Abstract

The study aims to:Investigate the impact of two interval training methods (strength-running) and (running) on several physical variables for advanced football players, and compare the effects of these two interval training methods (strength-running) and (running) on several physical variables for advanced football players. To achieve the study objectives, the researchers proposed the following hypotheses: There are statistical differences between the two interval training methods (strength-running) and (running) on several physical variables for advanced football players in the post-test for both experimental groups. The study sample consisted of 28 advanced football players from Hikma Sports Club.
