The impact of an analytical and evaluative program for the educational content elements of the swimming course in developing criticizing thinking among students of the College of Physical Education and Sport Science

The study aims to:Preparation of an educational program for the swimming course according to multiple intelligence indicators, criticizing thinking skills, and the curriculum elements directed to students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul. The researchers hypothesized:There are no statistically significant differences between the experimental group students and the control group students in critical thinking according to gender, group, and the interaction between them. The researchers used the experimental method, and the research community consisted of male and female students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences in the third and fourth academic years, totaling 483. Students from the first and second academic years were excluded due to the lack of theoretical and practical swimming lessons because of the COVID-19 pandemic. A sample of 80 students (55 male and 25 female) was selected for reliability. Another sample of 83 students was chosen for the educational program, and divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group comprised 50 students (35 male and 15 female), and the control group comprised 33 students (23 male and 10 female). The researchers concluded:The experimental group students taught according to the analytical and evaluative tools program outperformed in the post-test for critical thinking compared to the pre-tes
