СЈЕЋАЊА БРАЋЕ МИЛАНА И ЉУБОМИРА ЈАНКОВИЋА НА СТАРУ БАЊУ ЛУКУ

Abstract: The memories of brothers Milan and Ljubomir Janković of old Banja Luka are kept in the Collection of Memoirs in the Archives of the Republic of Srpska in Banja Luka. Оn the eve of the First World War, the Janković brothers were members of the Yugoslav revolutionary youth movement, which mostly gathered students from the Banja Luka Gymnasium. In the interwar period, they were very active in the cultural and educational life of the city. The Janković brothers were witnesses of many fateful historical events – in some of which they personally participated, which makes their memories even more interesting. Their memories primarily refer to the end of Austro-Hungarian rule over Bosnia and Herzegovina, the period of the First World War and the first years of life in the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes. Keywords: Мilan Janković, Ljubomir Janković, Banja Luka, Austria-Hungary, First World War, Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes.
