May 31 — World No Tobacco Day
There is a lot of talk about the dangers of smoking, cigarette packs are full of scary pictures showing the near future of lovers of taking a couple of puffs, and the prices of tobacco products are rising with enviable regularity. At the same time, the number of people who resort to this not entirely harmless relaxation method with varying frequency does not decrease at all. Given this fact, in 1988 the World Health Organization launched an initiative to spend at least one day a year tobacco-free, and since then, every last day of spring, anyone who cares about their own health should give up tobacco products for a day.
