Enhanced Instagram Spam Detection Using Convolutional Attention Networks with Water Wave Optimization-Based Fine-Tuning
Worldwide economies are vulnerable to financial fraud, which costs people and companies billions of dollars yearly. Conventional ways of detecting fraud are inadequate in this age of increasingly digital transactions. In this paper, we take most recent developments in the field of real-time financial fraud detection, including methods that use behavioral analytics, blockchain, AI, and ML. With the help of several case studies and practical applications, we also offer data-driven insights regarding detection rates, cost efficiency, and industry-specific obstacles. Instagram comment sections have a long history of spam and fraudulent posts, and the financial sector is no exception. New victims are being added daily. The present spam filter on Instagram isn't good enough, and most of the research that has been done so far has focused on theoretical ideas. There is a lack of practical implementations that have been reviewed. Questions of data quality, scalability, interpretability of models, and real- time processing are some of the obstacles to using machine learning for fraud detection. Additionally, we cover the ethical and privacy issues that come up when dealing with financial transactions that involve machine learning. The paper's goal is to help build trust in financial institutions and create more effective and ethical fraud detection systems using machine learning by drawing attention to these elements. To improve the accuracy of spam classification, we provide a Convolutional Attention-Based Mechanism (CBA) in conjunction with Water Wave Optimization (WWO). Deep feature representations are extracted by the convolutional layers, with the assistance of the attention mechanism, which helps to concentrate on noteworthy patterns. In order to maximize performance, the WWO algorithm adjusts the hyperparameters. In comparison to traditional deep learning models, our experimental results show that our model achieves better classification accuracy, recall, precision, and F1-score. High efficiency and resilience in identifying spam accounts are achieved by this strategy
