Human Performance Technology Activities Through Learning Management System-based Training
Employee performance in organizations is an important concern in health institutions worldwide. Performance assessments aim to identify strengths and weaknesses in a hospital system to inform policy decisions and improvement strategies. This research uses a mixed-method study design. The first phase of research collected quantitative data using an online questionnaire instrument that had been tested for validity (r > 0.361) and reliability (Chronbach alpha of 0.90). The second phase uses the focus group discussion method. Before being given a questionnaire and conducting an FGD, participants were given informed consent. A total of 400 questionnaires were given and 372 people participated in filling out the survey, 11 people did not meet the inclusion criteria, so the total research participants were 360 people (99.1%). The second phase of research involved 20 first line managers. The average staff performance score was obtained at 77.2 (SD: 8.7), indicating a tendency for the average staff performance in the good category to be in the interval 68.75 ≤ ẋ < 78. The average score for acceptance of LMS-based learning was 92.3 (SD: 10.9) indicating a tendency for acceptance of LMS-based learning in the good category to be in the interval 86 ≤ ẋ < 94. A strong relationship exists between acceptance of LMS-based learning and staff performance (p< 0.05), R: 0.615. The research shows a close relationship between LMS learning and staff performance. The results of the FGD show that there are differences of opinion but that LMS-based learning provides many benefits, especially in terms of time flexibility and increased self-confidence after attending training.
