Optimization design of THz photoconductive antenna based on EOT
How to improve the radiation efficiency of Photoconductive Antenna (PCA), as a commonly used Terahertz (THz) wave transmitting device, has become the focus of researchers at home and abroad. In this paper, the nature of Extraordinary Optical Transmission (EOT) of light is analyzed and multi-physics simulation of plasma PCA is carried out using numerical simulation software. It is concluded that the plasma PCA structure with holes in the electrodes can realize the enhancement of the transmitted light intensity of semiconductor materials under the condition of less than the diffraction limit. The transmittance field strength of the semiconductor material can be significantly enhanced, and the PCA current can be significantly increased by 7.14 times.
