Investigation on color rendering of four-color LED system with constant luminous flux
This study addresses the issue of poor color rendering in existing dual-color warm and cool white LED systems by proposing an innovative four-color LED system to significantly enhance color rendering performance. By introducing two additional colors of LEDs to the dual-color LED system, color rendering has been markedly improved, reaching up to 95, effectively overcoming the limitations of traditional systems. The system employs advanced PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) technology to achieve precise adjustment of color rendering and color temperature under constant luminous flux conditions. Through exhaustive simulation calculations of the four-color LEDs, this study successfully identifies the optimal combination for the best color rendering. Compared to traditional independent signal control for each of the four colors, this method innovatively controls four channels of signals with only two channels, greatly simplifying circuit design and enhancing system practicality and ease of application. The study's results not only provide a new solution for enhancing color rendering in LED lighting technology but also offer important theoretical foundations and technical support for the design and optimization of future LED lighting systems.
