A BUSCA DE NOVAS SOLUÇÕES AOS DESAFIOS DO SÉCULO XXI

This theoretical essay addresses the influence of globalization on social structure and the changes that have occurred in contemporary society, which have impacted how individuals interact and face the challenges of the modern world. The type of methodology used in the elaboration of this theoretical study was based on bibliographic review, employing a qualitative and descriptive approach. The first three themes presented deal with the impact of globalization and the changes in society, the transformations that occurred in post-modernity and the challenges in comprehending the new symptoms. Regarding the last discussed theme, love in the 21st century, it can be understood that it has been affected in contemporary times through the search for more intimate relationships and sexual fulfillment, though with increased difficulty in achieving commitment and stability. Finally, this essay concludes that the contemporary world has indeed undergone significant changes, giving rise to new symptoms that demand innovative solutions to address the challenges of the 21st century.
