In the "3 | Results" section, the heading "3.1 | Visual Determination of PA and Evaluation of the Palace of Articulation Using EPG" was incorrect.This should have read as follows: "Visual Determination of PA and Evaluation of the Place of Articulation Using EPG".In Table 3, the average for Patient No. J was incorrect.It should be 2.0 instead of 1.8.This is a typographical error and does not affect Figures 3 and4.In the fifth paragraph under the "4 | Discussion" section, the reference numbers were incorrect.It should be 18 and 20 instead of 21 and 23.The sentence should be corrected as follows: Although the results of the present study showed no relationship between the place of articulation of PA and VPF, the occurrence of PA is the result of mislearning of the tongue to compensate for velopharyngeal dysfunction, resulting in a backward shift in the place of articulation and residual PA even after improvement of VPF [18, 20].We apologize for this error.
