Formation of military personnel's readiness for combat operations in physical training classes

The article deals with the issue of the level of physical fitness of servicemen aged 20-25 years who were mobilised to the military formations of Ukraine, as well as the impact of the Basic Combined Arms Training Programme (for the preparation of mobilisation resources), which operates in training centres (combined arms training grounds). In this regard, we conducted a study aimed at determining the state of physical fitness of military personnel. We conducted a fact-finding experiment, the main task of which was to determine the level of physical fitness of servicemen. It was attended by 21 servicemen who were in a training centre (a combined arms training ground). The experiment resulted in comparative characteristics of the indicators that, in our opinion, are responsible for the readiness of servicemen for combat operations, which were confirmed by mathematical calculations. In the process of conducting the ascertaining experiment, we first got acquainted with the programme TP 7-00(03).01 "Basic Comprehensive Military Training Programme (for the Training of Mobilisation Resources)", approved by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on 20.06.2022. Based on the above, there is a socially significant task to preserve the health of servicemen under martial law and protect them from constant emotional overload, which leads to various disorders of the body. This requires solving a number of fundamental issues related to the study of psychological, physical and functional indicators of servicemen, the identification of "weak links" (a kind of "risk factors") that are affected in the course of combat activities, and the use of effective, scientifically based methodological approaches. Thus, applied sports can form a recreational component that should be easily accessible and conducted in the form of a game or entertainment aimed at developing cognitive abilities and sensorimotor functions.
