Methodology of content determination of physical education in the pedagogy of physical education

The methodology for determining the content of the pedagogical concept of “content of physical education”, fundamental for the theory and methodology of physical education of different categories of population, as a system of their practical and theoretical knowledge about their physical education and self-education, physical fitness and readiness for successful professional activity and a healthy lifestyle, is substantiated. Its substantiation is based on the leading ideas and provisions of systemic, contextual, andragogical and subjective-activity methodological approaches to their physical education and self- education. It has been identified that the content of physical education is the following system of scientific theoretical and practical knowledge of different categories of the population about: their physical culture and sports, healthy lifestyle of each person as subjects of professional activity and healthy lifestyle; physical fitness and readiness for professional activity as professionals of a specific type of activity; appropriate organizational forms, methods and means of forming, developing, improving and maintaining their physical fitness and readiness for successful professional activity and healthy lifestyle; practical physical skills, abilities and abilities, professionally important physical qualities as a representative of a particular type of professional activity; practical physical skills, abilities, and necessary physical qualities of each subject of a healthy lifestyle.
