Informative value of systemic indicators of vegetative functions for assessing performance in young swimmers during physical activity of maximum intensity

Studies of the relationship between pre-workout indicators of vegetative functions and the power of the work performed allow us to create a model for predicting performance at maximum loads and assess the athlete's fitness. However, in the modern scientific literature there is a lack of works devoted to determining informative physiological criteria for assessing performance based on initial pre- workout states during maximum power loads. Therefore, the goal of our work was to identify informative indicators of the cardiorespiratory system in the initial pre-workout state, by which the level of performance of athletes and people who do not engage in sports can be assessed. The data obtained during the study made it possible to trace the process of adaptive adjustment of the organism in a pre-workout state in accordance with the specifics of the future activity and the level of preparedness for its implementation. The results of the study allowed us to identify the most informative indicators for assessing performance during maximum power loads in swimmers, water polo players, and people who do not engage in sports.
