Managing accidental arterial cannulation mishaps in hemodialysis catheter placement: A case report
Accidental insertion of a hemodialysis catheter into an artery is a rare but potentially serious complication encountered during catheter placement. Hemodialysis (HD) catheters are of large caliber and direct removal of the catheter can lead to torrential hemorrhage or dislodgement of a thrombus.
