The effectiveness of the evacuation of industrial facilities during the Great Patriotic War on the example of the Osh region of Soviet Kyrgyzstan in 1941–1945

The article considers the historical stage of the formation and development of industry in the Kyrgyz Republic on the example of the Osh region during the Great Patriotic War. The purpose of this scientific research is to analyze the historical context, which includes the study of socio-economic conditions in the Osh region in 1941, the study of the influence of the Second World War on the economic development of the Southern Soviet Kyrgyzstan in 1941. Particular attention in the article is paid to the study of changes in the structure of industry and the economy of the region in the conditions of war. The study presents the specific examples of industrial enterprises of the Osh region based on archival materials. The author used the historical research method, as well as the detailed study of specific enterprises and projects implemented in the Osh region in 1941 to evaluate their contribution to the general process of industrialization.
