President’s message
Dear HOS Members, Ophthalmology has been my passion ever since I graduated, and it gives me immense pride and joy to see that over the years, our specialty has led the way to cutting-edge technology. It’s an honor to serve as the President of the Haryana Ophthalmological Society and share my thoughts through this edition of the journal. This journal is an excellent platform that allows the authors to publish some of the most promising developments in the field which serve as the backbone of clinical practice, enhancing patient care and outcomes. Since the inception of the 20-point program and Ayushman Bharat Yojana, preventable blindness caused by cataract has been largely controlled, but many causes of blindness need to be tackled. Ocular masquerades not only cause ocular problems but sometimes may be life-threatening as well. These can be diagnosed by thorough investigations and mindful analysis of reports. The editorial team has selected a very apt and relevant topic for this issue of our Journal. I congratulate the editorial team led by Editor-in-Chief Dr. Deependra Singh for this laudable effort. I urge all the members to share their valuable work and become an integral part of the ophthalmological world. Let’s shape the future of eye care by bringing forward research in the form of randomized controlled trials, systematic reviews, meta-analysis, clinical case reports, and the latest smart surgical techniques. Together, we can further advance and change the face of ophthalmology. Thank you for your dedication to our society and the field. Warm regards, Financial support and sponsorship Nil.
