Enhanced index polynomials for virtual knots

In this paper, we present a method for constructing an invariant of virtual knots by modifying the index polynomial. While the index polynomial fails to distinguish certain virtual knots, our enhanced polynomial invariant improves the detection of non-classical virtual knots.
