Symbolic Connections between Homeopathic Remedies and Planetary Archetypes: A Theoretical Exploration
Homeopathy and astrology both use symbolic systems to understand human emotions, thoughts, and health. This paper explores the possible connections between homeopathic remedies and planetary traits in astrology. Using classical homeopathic texts by Boericke, Clarke, and Kent, and archetypal astrology ideas from thinkers like Jung and Richard Tarnas, we compare key symbolic themes. Aurum metallicum (homeopathic gold) is linked to the Sun, reflecting themes of identity, ambition, and ego. Baryta carbonica is associated with a blocked expression of Jupiter, showing limited growth and self-worth. A qualitative mapping method is used to compare symbolic meanings in each system. Though not a clinical trial, this work may offer new perspectives for practitioners of holistic and integrative healing.
