Design and Application of Digital Museum Platform Based on VR Technology

Under the background of digital information age, people's lifestyles, information acquisition methods and cultural consumption habits have undergone profound changes. However, as an important position of cultural inheritance and knowledge dissemination, traditional museums have some shortcomings in their inherent display mode and operation mode, such as incomplete information, single offline display and weak interaction, which have seriously restricted the full play of their functions and values. In this regard, based on the actual application requirements, this paper will deeply explore the feasibility of the application of virtual interactive technology in the museum field, and put forward a set of complete construction scheme of digital museum management platform, so as to provide a more comprehensive, vivid and interactive tour experience and meet the audience's demand for diversified and personalized information acquisition methods. Practice has proved that relying on technologies such as Internet, virtual reality (VR) and visual interaction, the digital museum management platform has broken the limitation of physical space, realized the digital restoration and display of historical relics, and integrated a large number of virtual scenes and interactive designs, thus enhancing the audience's sense of participation and experience, strengthening the audience's in-depth understanding and cognition of cultural relics and history, and making a useful attempt to promote the digital transformation of museums.
