In conclusion, anemia is a condition characterized by reduced hemoglobin in the body. Hemoglobin is a metalloprotein, a protein containing iron in red blood cells that functions as a carrier of oxygen from the lungs to the entire body. Iron deficiency anemia is anemia caused by a lack of iron used for the synthesis of hemoglobin (Hb). Normal Hb in pregnant women >11 g/dl. The conclusion is able to carry out midwifery care for obese and anemic pregnant women.
