Peran PKK dalam Penanganan Stunting Melalui Pemberdayaan Masyarakat di Desa Bangsongan, Kayen Kidul, Kabupaten Kediri Tahun 2023

The role of PKK in handling stunting in Bangsongan Village, Kayen Kidul, Kediri Regency is implemented through a community empowerment program. The causes of stunting in Bangsongan Village are due to economic factors, parenting patterns, lack of knowledge about stunting, poor nutrition, and poor environmental sanitation. The purpose of this study is to find out what community empowerment programs have been implemented, supporting and inhibiting factors, and to find out the role of the village government as a public policy provider. This PKK activity was successful with high participation from the community, collaboration with multisectors and village government to support the stunting reduction program. Although the obstacle to the PKK’s role is the lack of allocated funds issued by the village government. The PKK program has succeeded in reducing stunting sufferers to 11%, and the community understands about healthy living, and is able to increase community food security.
